For Counselorsthis is intended as a portal page for information gathered for counselors with and emphasis on school counselors. I will try and include information that I feel will be of help. Latest information leads me to think the percentage of the population that is transgendered may be ten percent or higher. Girls may well not even be aware that they are gender variant. In our culture cross gender behavior for females appears to have much less stigma attached. I will note that I am a full time student aiming for a degree in mental health and a career in counseling.
